Orthodontics is now widely available to all ages and we offer a range of treatments including ceramic aesthetic brackets and clear aligners which make the treatment less noticeable to the outside world.
Elvetham Dental Care
Invisalign focuses on aligning the front ‘smiling’ teeth, and treatments can typically be completed in weeks, not years.
You can take out your aligners when you want to eat or brush your teeth – or even for very special occasions when you want to go brace-free.
The clear aligners are digitally engineered to fit over your teeth precisely, with none of the rubbing or catching you’d experience with metal braces.
Invisalign aligners are barely visible when worn, so you can continue to smile with confidence throughout your treatment.
The Invisalign Procedure – Free consultation
Your dentist will talk you through the Invisalign system, assess your suitability and use smile design software so that you can see how your teeth will look after treatment. If you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll draw up a comprehensive treatment plan for you to take away.Book a consultation
Why choose Invisalign?
Dental impressions – We will take your dental impressions which will be sent to a dental lab where your bespoke Invisalign aligners will be made.
Treatment – You’ll need to wear your Invisalign aligners daily – typically 22 hours per day for optimum results. After two to four weeks, you’ll return to your dentist for a replacement set of aligners, a process that will continue until treatment is complete.
Reliable teeth straightening with fixed braces in Fleet, Hampshire
Fixed braces are a proven, cost-effective and reliable method of straightening teeth quickly and effectively. Although fixed braces do not come with the invisible appeal of clear aligners, they are much more discreet and comfortable than they used to be!Book a consultation
Why choose fixed braces?
Fixed braces are arguably a better option for anyone who may struggle with the compliance required for a removable brace system – it can be very tempting to remove those aligners too often, and that brings the added risk of losing your aligners and having to pay to replace them.
Fixed braces will also be recommended if your particular orthodontic concerns, such as a problematic bite, cannot be rectified effectively with Invisalign. At EDC we make sure patients are fully informed about their options before going ahead with orthodontic treatment.
